How it works
Flavoxate HCl – it is a type of smooth muscle relaxant that rapidly blocks excessive contraction of the urinary bladder and prevents urinary incontinence. Propyphenazone – it belongs to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It quickly alleviates pain and inflammation
Cystalgon Tablets Usage And Safety
Dosage
Flavoxate HCl + Propyphenazone
Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, and nervousness may occur.
Drug Interactions
Some products that may interact with this drug are: anticholinergic drugs (such as atropine, belladonna alkaloids, scopolamine, trihexyphenidyl), antispasmodic drugs (such as clidinium, dicyclomine), bisphosphonate drugs (such as alendronate, etidronate, risedronate), potassium tablets/capsules, Pramlintide.
Indication
It is indicated for dysuria, nocturia, suprapubic pain, renal or Ureteral calculosis, painful urinary spastic disorder due to catheterization or cystoscopy, transuretheral resection of Prostate.
When not to Use
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients listed or you have obstruction of the gut or that your small bowel is not working properly.

Precaution
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have stomach/intestinal blockage (such as pyloric/duodenal obstruction, ileus), bleeding from the stomach or intestines, bladder blockage before taking this medicine.

Warning 1
This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy or blur your vision.

This medication can cause decreased sweating. To reduce the risk of a serious reaction to too much heat (heatstroke) .
